Description:

Yellow-tinted wings with black bands and spots distinguish this from other New Jersey odes.  Calico Pennant may appear similar, but the clear part of the wings is not tinted and the spots form a different pattern.  Painted Skimmer is larger and the spots do not extend completely across the wing.

Conservation Status:

State: S5 - Demonstrably secure in the state

Global: G5 - Secure globally, but possibly rare in parts of its range
