Range & Habitat:

Found across the state.

Usually found near wooded ponds and bogs.

Description:

Orange, with black markings near the end of the abdomen and brown spots and amber veins in the wings

Halloween Pennant is smaller, the entire wing is tinted yellow or orange, and the spots extend completely across the wing.

 

Conservation Status:

State: S5 - Demonstrably secure in the state

Global: G5 - Secure globally, but possibly rare in parts of its range
